This one looks a bit abstract. It's a garland made of chrysanthemums and a small bouquet on top of my backpack. These garlands were put around each of our necks when we arrived at the
Vajra Academy, the first green school in Nepal.

Welcome - oil on canvas, 8" x 8" |
As visitors, we were treated with great respect and warm hospitality everywhere we went, especially in the schools. The
children were courteous, respectful, curious, and invested in their
education. They shared information about their studies, and gave us a
tour of the grounds. The tour included climbing up to the roof to see
the huge solar collectors that power the kitchen, the garden where much
of their food is grown, the newborn calf, and the new herb garden.
I can't wait to go back!
