Day 4: Catness
Friends know him as Sammy, we also call him CatDog. He's something else, as far as cats go. Runs to greet you at the door, rolls over for belly rubs, and loves food (and the person who feeds him) more than anything else in the world.
I wanted to try to paint looser and faster today, maybe even a cartoon version of Sammy, since he kind of is one. Capture his essence, his ridiculousness, his cat-ness. But I still can't quite stop myself from trying to make things look "real". I considered a title. Here's how my thought process went: Hungry cat, Hunger Games, Katniss...well, you get it.
Lessons learned, Day 4:
1. Have your subject or photo ready the night before.
